I enjoy sharing my years of diverse expertise with the children and staff at Heatherdale.
I have been teaching since 1999. After graduating with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies from The University of Melbourne, I set off on an adventure to the USA. I worked at an Outdoor Education Camp, teaching Environmental Science and History to school aged children. I then enjoyed working at a school in London with disadvantaged children aged between 3-8 years.
My life at Heatherdale began when my 3 children attended kinder here. In 2016, I was then given the fantastic opportunity to work as a relief teacher. Following that I was offered permanent hours across both 4 year old groups.
I love the flexibility of my role and I am given so many opportunities to engage with all children across the kindergarten. I enjoy sharing my years of diverse expertise with the children and staff at Heatherdale.
Outside of work, I keep busy running around after my kids who enjoy netball, basketball, swimming and athletics. As a family we love camping and hanging out with friends.
